Somebody’s Watchin’ Me
I went to be with this song stuck in my head, and I woke up with this song stuck in my head. I don’t care what you say about the video, the song is fucking awesome.
So what’s up? It’s been a week and noooot a whole lot has happened.
I got cable recently, including in my bedroom for the first time in my life. I’m pretty excited about it, it was honestly exciting just to see commercials…
A few channels are playing LOST catch up episodes, so that’s pretty awesome. Also, fellow fans, check out the Lost Art Show make sure to note the prices
Ok so let’s talk about this:
This could very well be the best American metal show ever, and it’s not even happening in America. I heard some kind of rumor that it’s coming here, but even then the largest possible venue they could have the show at would be the Beaver’s Stadium in State College, PA which holds 107,282 people. That’s of course only if it’s all IN a stadium, which we can assume it won’t be. But even if it’s outdoors, Woodstock had over 500,000 people in attendance, even that doesn’t seem like enough. I am positive more than 1,000,000 people in this country would pay $100 (probably even more) to go to this show, yours truly included.
Regardless, imagine all in one night:
(2:45 is incredible)
(Like them or not, the reaction their getting is awesome)
(ENTER TO THE REALM OF SATAAANNNN)
(Favorite)
That would be it for me, it’s not 1989 but it’s as close a I would get.
Not a whole lot else has been on my mind lately. Harm’s Way (which not consists of James, Chris and myself) is practicing today to finish up exactly how we want the new 7″ to sound. It has always seemed like in any band I have been in, when we start going in “a new direction” it takes me a while to get used to it, but this time around I absolutely love the songs that we have written. It looks like there will be 5 songs on a 7″ tentatively called “No Gods, No Masters” and it’s being put out by Closed Casket .
Until next time.
PS: I started doing this out of curiosity and now it’s becoming an obsession:
It obviously doesn’t have every band, it’s pretty much every band I could find today that could be traced backwards to a previous band in Chicago. I unfortunately couldn’t find some of the ones I wanted (Over and Over, Can’t Deny, etc.) If you can add to this, let me know.

Who’s the white 50 cent? Haha. I always thought Hofacker looked like one of the dudes from The Shield.
My bad, this was for the Doppelganger post.
